Polar Bear
Many people have become aware of the Polar Bear in recent months as this magnificent animal struggles to survive in
an increasingly warm environment -- its habitat is literally melting away due to global warming! If you have felt
especially drawn to their plight or feel a deep sadness when you hear of these bears swimming for miles looking for
ice to rest on, only to drown, then you are being called upon to help!
The message of the Polar Bear may resonate for you on both a personal and environmental level, indeed these two aspects
are eternally linked. The Polar Bear teaches us when and how to speak and/or act. He knows when to be silent, to
watch, to become part of the background and wait. But when the Polar Bear decides to speak, to move, to act, then
everyone/all creatures listen and are attentive! If you embrace the energy of the Polar Bear, he will teach you
when and how to stand back and when to speak and stand up. He will also change the way you speak, his energy can be
the power behind your words, so that you can be clearly heard. This message may apply to situations in your own
life, and certainly it resonates on a global level. In honouring the energy of the Polar Bear in your own life, you
acknowledge and strengthen his roaring message to us all to speak out for our world, to speak up for the water the air
the earth that we all share -- the time to be heard and the time to act is now!!

Karenn is the owner of Creative Lynx, an internet solutions
business based in Toronto. Here’s Karenn’s story of her connection to the lynx…
“I have always had an affinity for cats, so when I was looking for a name for my business, I started looking at
different types of cats, and that’s when I found the Lynx. I think that the word “lynx” has a lot of magic in it.
I don’t know in what sense, but there is something about that name that I like, and it rhymes with “links”, such as web
links, a way to connect people through the internet by having a website. I have always considered myself to be a people
person, someone that likes to help others, so I was trying to connect my likes to my skills"
The Lynx’s Message
Karenn is right; the lynx is a very powerful and magical animal!
Ted Andrew’s book, “Animal Speak” reveals the spiritual and magical powers of different animals and the lynx represents
"secrets and visions of the hidden and unseen."
The lynx is associated with inspiration, revelation, mysticism, and occult teachings. Those with strong connections
to the lynx are able to see error, falsehood and that which is hidden.
Trust your instincts about others, Karenn, because the lynx gives you a special kind of clairvoyance that allows you
to see what people try to hide from others and themselves such as fears, activities and abilities. People may also want
to share their secrets with you, whether you want them to or not!
The only warning associated with the lynx is to use your powers for good -- avoid sharing other people's secrets
inappropriately, keep the information to yourself.
In relation to your web business, the energy of the lynx must give you great insight into the needs of others (i.e.
